YEARS IN THE MAKING

It's been a while

I started as a photographer in elementary school, balancing pieces of string cheese on my little red Kodak point and shoot camera, in order to get the family dog to sit still long enough to snap a photo of her sitting by a pot of flowers in the yard. Since then I've upgraded. My DSLR hasn't left my side since 7th grade when I started working for the yearbook, and more photos have been taken than can be on one computer.

As a senior in high school I started my own photography business, starting with photographing dogs at the local park, and moving up to photographing high school seniors for their yearbook senior pages. I have photographed The French Bakery's new foods for their menus, website and social media platforms. I have also worked with the widely known rapper Waka Flocka Flame to photograph his spring concert at Washington State University Springfest 2016, and renown country artist Chase Bryant during his winter tour stop in Pullman.

I currently use my photography skills as part of the ZZU CRU Executive Board, where my goal is to capture the student experience at Washington State University sporting events such as Football, Basketball, and Baseball. These photos are used for promotional materials, as well as posted to the ZZU CRU Facebook page to encourage student attendance at various sporting events.

I photograph a lot of things, and these are just a few snapshots throughout my life. No one is more important to me than the other, because each subject requires a different skill set to capture.
